About Frontubo
We make a few finished Shopify stores for makers who sell candles, soap and skincare, and hand them over for you to run.
Who is behind it
Frontubo is one developer who works in Shopify admins and theme code every day.
Why we do this
Etsy sellers pay a growing pile of fees and own none of their customers. A Shopify store fixes both, but starting one means choosing a theme, writing every page and setting up menus, before the first sale. We do that part once, well, for each niche, so you start from a working store instead of a blank one.
What we do not do
- We do not build custom stores. You get a finished design and full control of it.
- We do not sell dropshipping stores.
- We do not promise sales. A new store gets few visitors at first, and we say so on the calculator.
How the stores are made
Each design is a Shopify theme with sample products, written for its niche. They start from KS Bootshop, an open-source theme by KondaSoft (MIT licence), which we rebuilt: new sections, a product page with a sticky buy bar, delivery estimate and care popup, and settings arranged so that colors, fonts and sections are all changed in Shopify’s theme editor without code. The demo photos come from Unsplash.
How Basic is free
Shopify pays us a referral when you choose a paid plan for a store we handed over. The whole story is here.
