Terms

Last updated 2026-10-31

These terms cover the Frontubo website and the store designs we hand over. In them, “we” and “us” mean Frontubo, and “you” means the person asking for a store. Please read them before you send a request. If anything is unclear, ask first on the contact page.

1. What we do

We make ready-made Shopify stores and hand them over to makers. We do not build custom stores, run your store for you, or sell products. The live demo stores use invented products and are not shops you can buy from.

2. Basic stores are free

A Basic store costs you nothing to us. You pay Shopify for your Shopify plan, under Shopify’s own terms, from the day you choose one. We earn a referral from Shopify when you choose a paid plan for a store we transferred to you. See affiliate links. Paid tiers (Start, Launch, Pro) are not on sale. If we begin selling them, their price and terms will be shown before you can order, and this page will change.

3. Requesting, trying and taking a store

  1. You send a request. It is not a contract, and you can withdraw it at any time before the transfer.
  2. We reply and invite you to your own copy of the store as a staff member. You can try it for 7 days: add products, change settings, preview.
  3. If you want it, we start the store transfer through Shopify. You accept it in your Shopify account, and from then on the store is yours.
  4. If you do not take it, we remove your access and keep or delete the copy as we see fit. A store nobody claims after the trial can be taken back after 30 days.

While you try a store, you may use the staff access only for that store and only to evaluate it. Do not share the invitation.

4. Your store, your responsibility

Once the store is yours, you are the seller. You are responsible for what you sell, your prices, your shipping and returns, your taxes and your legal duties to customers, and for following Shopify’s terms. We give no advice on these.

5. The design and what is in it

  • You may use and change the store and its theme in your own store, for as long as you like. You may not resell or give away the theme files as a product of your own.
  • Our themes start from KS Bootshop, an MIT-licensed theme (© 2020 KondaSoft), which we changed heavily. Its licence stays with the parts it covers. Fonts and other components keep their own licences.
  • Sample photos in the stores come from Unsplash and are used under the Unsplash License. Sample products, prices and reviews are invented. Replace them with your own before you sell, and do not keep sample reviews.
  • The Frontubo name and logo remain ours. A transferred store does not carry them.

6. No promises about sales

We cannot promise that a store will sell, bring visitors, or save you money. Our fee calculator compares published fees and is a guide, not advice. A free store comes as it is. We try to hand over something that works, and we will fix real faults in what we handed over, but we give no other warranty.

7. Limits on what we owe you

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost sales, lost profit, lost data or indirect losses, and our total liability to you for a free store is limited to what you paid us, which is nothing. This does not limit anything the law does not let us limit, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you use the site as a consumer, you keep the rights the law gives you.

8. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. A change does not reach back to a store you have already taken.
